“ The restaurant was clean and busy. Decor/music were typical of most Mexican restaurants. The chips were very fresh and thin, perfect really. The salsa was a little heavy on the cilantro for our taste. My husband and I ordered shrimp dishes. He ordered the Camaron Ranchera, and I ordered the Camaron Al Mojo de Ajo. We both ordered sides of queso with our meal. My husband's food was served as ordered. I instead received the Camaron Empanizado, which I was not thrilled about, as the shrimp were fried, but my husband and I were traveling and in a hurry, so I ate the fried shrimp without complaint. To be fair, they were tasty, and all of the food was served very hot. I just wish they had served me what I ordered. A few small additional notes on the food--the rice had green beans in it, which was different but good; the queso was a bit runny, and the vegetables were grilled instead of steamed, which was inconsistent with menu but probably better actually. Overall, it was not a bad experience, and we might try again when passing through but will have the server repeat our order to us. At the end of the meal, you can scan your check and pay by phone. ”
“ Amazing food AND amazing service. Love going during the week as it gets very busy on the weekends. That's because of their made-to-perfection tacos and lively music. So, I can't blame them for that lol. I usually get carnitas tacos and a lime margarita. Portions there are fabulous, so you'll definitely get enough bang for your buck. I'll post pics upon my next visit. Give them a try the next time you're in Birmingham, AL! ”

“ Chips were perfect...thin, crispy & freshly made. The salsa & cheese dip were also spot on! We both had cheese enchiladas smothered in pork, onions & peppers. Outstanding, & generous lunch time servings. We drove 10 minutes past the other Mexican restaurant to try this one & I'm definitely glad we did. So much better than the other one nearby! ”
